Update Notes for Release 16S
12/14/2012 : This update revises and confirms the ASCII file import routine for the EdPRO import option. The EdPRO data file should be created using the Physical Decimal option and UNCHECKING the account Number Punctuation.
11/29/2012 : This update corrects the calculation of 3480 for the debt service fund when creating the PEIMS data file.
10/31/2012 : This update corrects an error giving an "Invalid Pointer Operation" when printing the Lead Sheets Ordered by Fund Type in the Trial Balance Program.
10/25/2012 : This update adds codes for special items and extraordinary items in the Proprietary Type Funds in the Report Generator. There is also a corection in the Trial Balance Program to the Prior Year Current Year file creation. All data from the prior year is combined over different fiscal years that may be in the file. Similarly, all data used in the comparison for the current year is combined into a single account regardless of different fiscal years.
10/20/2012 : This update corrects a key violation error which occurred when creating the PEIMS data file from the Trial Balance File. This error was introduced with the update of 10/19. Remember ALL changes are incorporated in this update of 10/20.
09/27/2012 : This update provides a modified MOE Test for IDEA B. T.E.A. has not provided a template for the FY12 audit. We have taken the last template provided and added the ability to enter the estimated amounts from the allocation of PIC 99 and any amounts spent on the district's behalf by SSA. This is consistent with TEA's stated methodogy and should give a better estimate of the district's compliance with the MOE requirement.
08/29/2012 : This update provides the remainder of the updated items for the Compliance Audit Programs in the Audit Program Generator. It also corrects the date on the printed mandated programs compliance test in the Trial Balance Program.
08/20/2012 : This update incorporates some changes on the print out for the MOE compliance test for IDEA B reflecting information provided last week from T.E.A.

We have also completed many of the conpliance program revisions in the Audit Program Generator to be sure it includes information from the June, 2012, Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement. We will continue to work on these and get them to you as soon as possible.
07/24/2012 : T.E.A. has advised that they will not automatically include any expenditures from fund 287 in the MOE tests. They advise that if the District is non-compliant, they can request that T.E.A. consider using any amounts available in fund 287 to fill the deficiency. They caution that the District should consider the impact of using these funds on future MOE tests. This update simply advises with the MOE reports if there are any amounts in fund 287 which can be used to meet the deficiency. Expenditures from fund 287 have also been removed from the tests for mandated programs.
07/22/2012 : This update corrects an error checking for the FY in one of the PEIMS edit checks.
07/10/2012 : There has been a SIGNIFICANT change in the way T.E.A. is calculating the MOE tests for both IDEAB and NCLB. The new Division of Federal Compliance has advised that they will not initially calculate MOE using expenditures from Fund 287 in addition to those from 199 and 266. They do say, however, that if you are found noncompliant you can respond to them and provide the analysis using fund 287. This update allows you to run these tests BOTH ways in the Trial Balance program.

There has been a change in the Indirect Cost Schedule - Exhibit J-2. A line for 6214 Lobbying has been added. If you have already created this exhibit, you MUST recreate it and reimport the data to add this information.

05/02/2012 : This update corrects an error in the PEIMS check files.
